As a consumer, now business-owner, I want to start by saying that I am very understanding, flexible and compassionate. I understand that things happen, things change and circumstances differ. One of my core values, as a business-woman and individual, is respect. I believe that we should treat others with respect, dignity and kindness, even when it is not reciprocated. I will always remain professional, kind and respectful throughout any interactions and associate myself with the standards of a business-woman. I ask that each client reciprocate respectful practices when making exchanges with me. Please carefully review my policies, should you have any specific concerns, and respect the boundaries set forth. I do have a legal team, readily available to consult upon request, should you have any questions, concerns or challenges regarding my policies that are beyond my scope. Thank you and I look forward to working with you!
XO,
XO,
No-Show Appointments:
No-show appointments are subject to an additional fee of $50. Pre-paid and deposit-held no-show appointments will not be eligible for full or partial refund of any type. Leniency is at the discretion of myself.
Tardiness:
I typically arrange my schedule continuously, meaning I do not allot time for many breaks. Because of how my schedule is arranged, it is hard for me to accommodate those that are late to their scheduled appointments. Of course, I will always try to give a full session to each client. However, in the event that a client is late to his or her appointment, the service will be shortened to remain fit into my schedule. Unfortunately, appointments are considered to be "no-show" after 15 minutes of tardiness. Late and no-show appointments may be eligible for reschedule with an additional holding deposit incurred, per my discretion. The holding deposit is non-refundable. Leniency is at my own discretion. I reserve the right to refuse accommodation for late and no-show appointments.
Appointment Guests:
Everyone is welcome at my shop! As long as the client being serviced is comfortable having his or her children or additional guests present, I am fine as well. I have reception area seating, as well as in-session seating available for everyone. I have wi-fi, television and refreshments available to make the environment welcoming for all. I wanted my shop to be a place where my clients can be comfortable and share their experience with others if they choose. I ask that guests respect my space and comply with appropriate building etiquette-- children included. My couch is also white, so I ask that client's eat in the other chairs. (:
Refunds:
Chelly Jae Fit, LLC does not issue refunds of any sort under any circumstances. It is up to the discretion of myself, whether or not a refund will be issued. In the event that I initiate a cancel or reschedule, a refund may be requested. Issuance to the client(s) / student(s) is to my discretion. Unsatisfied clients / students are welcome to reach out and arrange additional services at a reduced or complimentary rate, however, no initial refunds will be granted and no accommodations are promised. Again, it is to my discretion, whether or not a refunder accommodation will be issued for any circumstance.
Communication:
My business phone is active 10:00 am - 8:00 pm M-F. These are considered to be appropriate communication hours. Communication outside of these hours may not be regarded until the set forth hours, during the next business day. I ask that everyone allow up to one business day for expected response from me. I am a one-woman show at this time and I try my best to reach everyone, assist everyone and service everyone. As with anything in life, I have to enforce boundaries, even though I love my business and appreciate my clients. I ask that my clients and students remain respectful and polite throughout interactions with me, whether in-studio, online or via phone / text. I reserve the right to restrict communication and future booking rights where boundaries are disregarded or disrespected. I value my time, my business and my clients / students. I thank everyone for the continued patience and support.
Payment Methods:
Acceptable forms of payment include cash, Cash App ($mychellbrewington), Apple Pay (please contact me directly for Apple Pay ID), Square, manual credit / debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX) and PayPal. While most appointments are fully paid in advance, upon booking, some appointments are manually entered, have incurred add-ons, etc. In these instances, any form of acceptable payment is due upon completion of the service. A card on file is required for clients who have not paid in advance, upon booking. For course students, there are options to either pay in full upon enrollment, or pay the deposit. For students choosing to split payments by depositing first, the remaining course balance will be automatically applied 7 days prior to the course date. For late enrollments (within one week of class), full payment is due at the time of enrollment. Course and payment policies may vary upon my own discretion.
Disputes / Chargebacks:
All clients and students are required to digitally e-sign in agreement with all policies upon booking or enrollment. Disputed charges are not allowable following booking or enrollment, even if services have not yet been rendered. Any sort of disputed charges will be regarded as breach of policy agreement upon booking, therefore terminating the ability to continue with services, as well as preventing any future booking or enrollment. I challenge all disputed charges and chargebacks, as it is my professional right to do so. I encourage everyone to contact me directly to seek resolution to avoid breach of policy agreement.
Liability:
All treatments and procedures are cosmetic grade. I am not a nurse, nor licensed massage therapist. At this time, body contouring services are not board regulated to any extent. This means that any safe and well-trained professional can administer services legally. I am adequately insured and legally equipped to service clients in my workspaces. My businesses are properly structured on the state, as well as city municipal levels. Upon scheduling / enrollment and policy agreeable, all clients and students agree to waive liability from Chelly Jae Aesthetics as a business entity, The Beauty Bar by Chelly Jae, Granby Salon Suites, and the associated provider.
Shipments:
I am not responsible for any lost, damaged or mislabeled shipments, including third-party shipments and vendor-supplied shipments. This includes, but is not limited to, course equipment, online orders, certificate mailers, course supplies, store merchandise, etc. All shipments are insured, and therefore, are eligible for claim submission by the receiver. All claims must be directed to USPS, UPS, DHL, China L-Post or Fedex.
Certifications:
At this time, body sculpting is unregulated by any board. This means that any individual who is properly trained, insured and OSHA compliant is fine to practice body sculpting. In my course, we review these things and other legalities. By enrolling in a course taught by me, students agree to non-compete and independent promotion. This means that students will not deliberately "compete," with me nor use my materials for their own profit. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching certification courses with my material, using the provided templates without customization and using my photographs without permission or acknowledgement. Independent promotion agreements refer to student branding and marketing using their own photos, careful not to crop or reuse mine, nor any material from my websites, booking sites or social media platforms. This agreement is binding and assumably agreed to upon course enrollment.
